Union Minister of State for Education and Balurghat MP Sukanta Majumdar has called the Supreme Court’s verdict on the SSC recruitment scam “unfortunate,” blaming the Trinamool Congress for widespread irregularities that have affected deserving teachers. He accused the Mamata Banerjee-led government of jeopardizing the education sector through corruption and political interference. Majumdar announced that the BJP will launch a massive statewide protest after Ram Navami, demanding justice for affected candidates and holding the state government accountable.
